After a successful inaugural year, Sandown Park Racecourse will host the second Breeders’ Day initiative with the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association on Wednesday 14 September 2022.
Breeders’ Day, which falls during National Racehorse Week (10-18 September), will provide racegoers with a unique insight into the breeding industry, engaging them with competitions, interactive displays, a retired racehorse parade, interviews with breeders, give-aways and trade stands.
There will also be opportunities to learn about shared ownership options and how to get involved in thoroughbred breeding, while students and those considering a career change can learn from The National Stud’s ‘Entry for Stud Employment’ programme about roles in the industry.
