A Grand National winning jockey with 40 years experience in racing, Nigel’s philosophy of plenty of fresh air, paddock turnout, open windows, routine exercise and specialised feeding regimes produces contented and thriving horses. An ethos of thinking outside the box has produced a wonderful platform on which Nigel trains both young and experienced racehorses to success.

After arrival at Hawke Barn, Nigel will welcome you and give a talk about what life at Thorn Farm is all about. You will get a hosted tour of the yard, meet all the racehorses and the staff that care for them, followed by refreshments before finishing with a Q&A session hosted by Nigel and a Jockey. Nigel and the team look forward to welcoming you to show you the fantastic facilities on offer and the 5* care that the horses at Thorne Farm receive.
