Overview
The team at Adlestrop Stables are delighted to welcome visitors for a ‘morning on the gallops’ to view our horses at exercise to celebrate National Racehorse Week.
Adlestrop Stables is located directly opposite Adlestrop Village Hall.
Car parking will be signposted and in an adjacent paddock.
Facilities and access

- Refreshments and toilet facilities will be available in Adlestrop Village Hall, directly opposite the stables.
- The stables and village hall are wheelchair friendly, however the gallops are only accessible if in a suitable 4x4 vehicle.

What to expect
We very much look forward to welcoming visitors to come and view our horses at exercise on the gallops. The approximate itinerary of the morning will be:
• 8.30am – Meet at Adlestrop Village Hall for welcome and refreshments.
• 9am – Walk to the gallops (about half a mile) to watch the horses at exercise. (Lift available for those who are not able to walk)
• 10am – Enjoy informative demonstrations and presentations from a number of equine professionals on the care given to racehorses throughout their lives.
• 11am – Tour Adlestrop Stables with the opportunity to meet our horses and all those who care for them.
