Harroway is a private livery yard , specialising in the retraining and in a few cases rehoming of retired racehorses. There are currently 12 racehorses headed by Zarkandar and Balthazar King and Diesel D’Allier .
We pride ourselves on the care and attention each horse gets allowing them time to fulfill what ever potential they might have. The proprietor Lucinda Sims is a passionate advocate of the TB and their usefulness as wonderful riding horses . Weekly lessons are given covering all the basics up to competition levels.

Lucinda Sims is an International Showing Judge as well as a much admired side-saddle rider and Instructor, ‘Cindy’ has also competed for Great Britain eventing and has produced a number of advanced Event horses alongside her prize-winning line of show ponies and her famous RoR horse Zarkander. In an opportunity like no other, you'll be able to get a behind-the scenes look at the processes of retraining a racehorse into a new discipline. Meet all the horses . Demonstrations taking place through the day. To include side saddle , jumping , showing and dressage.
