Overview

Heath Barn is the purpose-built training establishment of Tom and Gina Ellis, who have been crowned Champion Point-to-Point Trainers on five occasions.

Tom took out a full training licence to campaign Latenightpass towards the Grand National. Since then, the horse has finished second in the Cross Country Chase at this year’s Cheltenham Festival. Tom trained 11 winners in his first season under Rules and, in his second season (2025/26), increased that total to 31 winners, underlining his ambition and growing success as a trainer.

What to expect

As you can see, we have planned a jam-packed open day, where you will be able to see everything that happens behind the scenes at our yard. Not only do we have all of the activities planned below, we will also have Gina Andrews, Zac Baker and Jack Andrews at our open day available to answer any questions or available to take pictures with!
