Gates open at 8am, event starts at 8:30am and finishes at 10.30am.

Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole train at Urloxhey Stables in Worcestershire. Richard Newland has trained a Cheltenham Festival and Grand National winner as well as many other high profile wins. In 2024 he teamed up with exciting young trainer Jamie Insole to create an exciting dual purpose yard. The yard has gone from strength to strength with the simple philosophy of putting the horses first.

What to expect

Come along to Urloxhey Stables o see a purpose built yard that caters for a racehorse’s every need. The morning will involve a chance to meet the horses, see two lots on the gallops and a talk from Jamie and Richard on their training methods and philosophy. Gates open at 8am, event starts at 8:30am and finishes at 10.30am. There will also be food available to buy at the  yard. Payment is available by card.
