Overview

Since the early 2000s, Newsells Park Stud has grown to its present size of 1,200 acres and has been restored and maintained as a thriving habitat for the horses in our care. 70,000 trees have been planted to help provide natural shelter, while the soil’s high calcium content and the climate encourages a variety of herbage to thrive in our post and rail paddocks.

State of the art, light and airy barns have been built. Each barn is surrounded by its own paddocks and is situated next to the barn manager’s house to ensure someone is always nearby.

The stallion unit – the area you will be hosted at… is on the ‘West’ side of the Stud was completed in 2008. This world class facility caters for all the needs of our stallions and ‘walking-in’ mares, as we seek to offer the best service and facilities for our clients.

We use one of the most advanced veterinary clinics anywhere in the world in Rossdale & Partners, while our farrier, Dermot Barry, is renowned throughout the racing and breeding industry.
