Nestled in the heart of the historic Manton Estate in Marlborough, Astor Yard offers a world-class environment for training racehorses. Our yard boasts 80 spacious boxes, providing comfort for each horse. The facilities include a modern horse walker, a swimming pool for low-impact fitness and recovery, and an indoor trotting ring.
Astor Yard enjoys direct access to some of the finest private training grounds in the country, including a recently resurfaced Polytrack gallop and several well maintained grass gallops.
The yard led by trainer Brian Meehan, who has been based at Manton since 2006. Under his guidance, Astor Yard has produced numerous high-caliber horses, including Breeders’ Cup Turf winners Red Rocks and Dangerous Midge, and Group 1 winners such as David Junior and Donna Blini.
