Overview

Since obtaining their license to train National Hunt racehorses at Higher Whiddon Farm, former professional jump jockey Chris Honour and his wife Becky, have assembled a small but mighty string of horses. There is a real family feel to Higher Whiddon Farm, with many of the heads peering out over the stable doors being those of homebred horses such as Tile Tapper and Mayhem Mya.
Our yard strives to provide the best environment for our horse’s, staff and owners and our ethos is what underpins our success. Happy Horses, Happy Staff, Happy Owners. Maintaining these relationships is of upmost importance to Chris and Becky.
Chris has once again had a fantastic season including placings at The Cheltenham Festival and successful foaling season with 4 colts born at the farm from prestigious stallions such as Paddington and Cracksman.
The Chris Honour Racing Club has continued to go from strength to strength with Time To Bite winning 6 times for the club. The exciting new addition Dalcassian Girl can only bring more joy to members in the upcoming season.
With a very exciting group of Bumper horses set to run this year the yard could not be more excited to host a National Racehorse Week event again.
