The Henry Cecil Open Weekend takes place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2025. Showcasing all Newmarket has to offer, the action-packed weekend provides invaluable insight into all aspects of the horseracing industry and offers visitors the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes at British horseracing’s headquarters.

This year, we have a record of 27 trainers opening their yards on Sunday 21st September, 9am - 12:30pm. Having raised a record £89,000 for our charity partners last year, the event will continue to support The Newmarket Housing Trust and Racing Welfare in 2025.
