Based at Wiseton Stables near Doncaster, Lawrence Mullaney Racing is a friendly and professional training yard where horse welfare, attention to detail and individual care are at the heart of everything the team does. Lawrence combines experienced horsemanship with a personalised approach to training, ensuring each horse receives a programme tailored to its individual needs and development. With a focus on maximising every horse’s potential, the yard provides a supportive environment where horses can thrive both on and off the racecourse.

Directions

As part of National Racehorse Week, visitors are invited to go behind the scenes and experience life in a working racehorse training yard. You'll have the opportunity to meet the horses, explore the facilities and gain an insight into the daily routines involved in preparing racehorses for competition. Lawrence and his team will explain the training process, horse care, fitness programmes and race preparation, while sharing the teamwork and dedication that underpin every runner. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions about racehorse ownership, training and the day-to-day life of a professional racing stable.
