Located on Epsom Downs, just a furlong from the start of the world-famous Derby, Downs House combines a rich racing heritage with a modern approach to training. Downs House is a state-of-the-art training facility, featuring spacious, airy barns designed to maximise natural light and ventilation, creating a calm and healthy environment for our horses. Combined with access to the renowned Epsom gallops and first-class training facilities, it provides an ideal setting for racehorses to reach their full potential.
During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to meet trainer George Baker and his dedicated team, learn about the daily routine of a racehorse in training, and discover the expertise, care and commitment that go into preparing horses for competition. Visitors will enjoy guided tours of the yard, meet some of our equine stars, and gain an insight into the welfare, training and teamwork that underpin every success on the racecourse.
