Overview

Max Comley Racing is based in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside at the state-of-the-art Beeches Stables in Sutton Veny. Max began his career as a point-to-point rider before turning his attention to training racehorses in 2019. Starting with just five horses, he has grown the yard into a thriving operation, training over 35 horses from a first-class, purpose-built facility designed to support horses and owners alike.

Through passion, hard work from his team, and loyal support from owners, the yard enjoyed its best season to date in 2023/24, finishing 3rd in the National Point-to-Point Championship. Following this success, Max will take out a full licence to train under Rules for the 2024/25 season.

The yard is a large, purpose-built facility offering extensive turnout and plenty of space for the horses. Training facilities include two gallops: a one-mile round gallop and a one-mile carpet hill gallop. The yard also benefits from two horse walkers, an outdoor school, and an indoor lunging pen.
