Situated at the foot of Bredon Hill in the heart of Gloucestershire, Overbury Stud is one of Britain’s leading commercial Thoroughbred stud farms. With a rich history in breeding and raising racehorses, the stud plays a vital role in producing the next generation of equine talent for both the Flat and National Hunt sectors.

A busy working stud farm, Overbury is home to six stallions and stands both Flat and National Hunt sires: Golden Horn, Jack Hobbs, Schiaparelli, Frontiersman, Ardad and Caturra. The stud also offers a full range of breeding services, including broodmare boarding, foaling, youngstock rearing and sales preparation.

During National Racehorse Week, visitors will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at a commercial breeding operation and discover how racehorses begin their journey.
