What to expect
Guests will arrive from 2.30pm, before enjoying a talk at the stables from RoR’s Ali Dane on former racehorses, retraining, and the many different second careers these horses go on to enjoy. The visit will also include a guided tour of Aintree Racecourse, led by the racecourse historian.
Visitors are then encouraged to stay for the evening performance, including the much-loved Always a Star Parade, which celebrates former racehorses who have excelled on the track, alongside the people who support them in their lives beyond racing.
This event is free of charge as part of National Racehorse Week, but places are limited to 50 and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Free tea and coffee will be available on arrival in the indoor arena, with additional food and beverage options available to purchase onsite.
