We are a small and friendly, predominantly National Hunt yard set in the beautiful Marlborough Downs. Notable horses include Lil Rockerfeller, Milansbar, and currently Lookaway.

Our first-class facilities include two all-weather gallops, four grass gallops, a horse walker, a loose school, an indoor school, Birch and Easifix schooling fences and hurdles, plus a range of cross-country jumps.

Please make certain your sat-nav is set for SN4 0QH Upper Herdswick Farm and NOT Lower Herdswick Fm. We are on top of the steep hill past Barbury Shooting School and then 500yds past Barbury Castle Country Park on the left.

Directions

Gates will open at 9.30am on Saturday 29th August and close at 12.30pm. Please do not expect access prior to 9.30am. Our yard will be fully open to view the horses and we will be running Tractor and Trailer tours over the 284 acre training ground. Neil and his full team of staff will be on hand to show you round and answer questions. Our Syndicate/partnership horses will be on show along with all the others in training. We can also offer Airbnb accommodation for a 3 night stay for anyone making a few days away.
