It had always been Karen’s ambition to become a trainer in her own right, and moving to Eyehorn Farm in October 2021 enabled her to fulfil that goal. Prior to establishing her training operation at Eyehorn Farm, Karen Jewell spent more than 20 years as assistant trainer to her mother, Linda Jewell, at Southfield Stables.

Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the racing industry and has played a key role in producing winners under both codes, ranging from 5-furlong Group winners to marathon chase winners, including the Sussex National.

Located in the heart of Kent, Eyehorn Farm has been developed into the ideal setting for a dual-purpose racehorse training yard, complete with its own on-site gallops. Our dedicated team is passionate about achieving success and providing exceptional care and attention to every horse in our stable, ensuring they have the best opportunity to reach their full potential.
