Overview

New Beginnings was established in 2010 and has been providing a safe and secure environment for former racehorses, where they can adjust and be retrained for their second career after racing. Since its inception, the priority for New Beginnings has and always will be the welfare of our horses and those horses looking for a new home. New Beginnings have three strands to its business:

– The core is retraining and rehoming former racehorses.

– They also also take their Ambassador horses to race meetings to meet the public as well as Care Homes, Hospices, Medium Secure Hospitals, Brain Trauma Units and Schools to allow the public to get up close and touch a horses often for the first time.

– They work with Schools to give children who are struggling with main stream education for various reasons.

You will be able to meet Goldream, Nearly Caught, Chil The Kite, Burrow Seven, Beeb Beep Burrow, Scampi and Haverland and many other former racehorses. We will have demonstrations showing ridden and ground exercise as well as talks from our farrier and other professionals. There will be plenty to see and learn.
