Overview

New Beginnings was established in 2010 and has been providing a safe and secure environment for former racehorses, where they can adjust and be retrained for their second career after racing.

Since its inception, the priority for New Beginnings has and always will be the welfare of our horses and those horses looking for a new home.

What to expect

We are delighted to open our yard to visitors during National Racehorse Week. You will be able to meet Goldream, Nearly Caught, Chil The Kite and many other former racehorses. We will have demonstrations showing ridden and ground exercise as well as farrier, physio and vet demonstrations so there will be plenty to see and learn. You will have the opportunity to see how we work and the care we give to all our former racehorses – a ‘Life Past The Post’.
