Overview

Located in the picturesque village of Upper Longdon on the edge of Cannock Chase, Steph is well positioned within 100 miles of 15 racecourses.  The horse racing history of Deva House’s facilities goes back even further than the three generations of Hollinsheads who have trained here. Famous trainer Tom Coulthwaite previously trained three grand national winners off at what are now the family gallops. The land is ideal to simulate the varied ground found on courses across the country, and the gradient makes it perfect for getting horses fit.

Directions: When approaching from Lower Way, turn into Bardy Lane and the entrance is approx. ¼ mile on the left. Cream gates open on vehicle approach and directions to parking will be on site

What to expect

Steph and her team are looking forward to welcoming you to Catmint Lodge as part of National Racehorse Week. In an experience like no other, you'll have the opportunity to meet the racing stars as well as the team behind them.  You'll not only be able to chat to the physio, farrier, dentist and vet but also meet some of the owners. There'll also be a hog roast, and a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained!!
