Susan and her team run one of the leading racing yards in the North East, offering modern facilities and training for both National Hunt and Flat horses.

This unique visit provides the opportunity to see how horses progress from breeding through to racing, and, most importantly, how the dedicated team at Girsonfield cares for them every step of the way.

Susan and her team were awarded Gold Accreditation in all four Lycetts Leadership Excellence Awards in 2022, as well as the overall Lycetts Team Champions Award. Both Susan and Bekah were also shortlisted for the Godolphin Stud & Stable Staff Awards – a remarkable achievement for a small yard in rural Northumberland.

Directions: Just off the A696 in Otterburn. The entrance lane is next door to the Otterburn Castle Hotel, with parking available on site.
